In this course, professionals discuss the use of social media as it relates to the healthcare provider and patient/family relationship. Participants identify situations when provider/patient professional boundaries could potentially be violated, utilize decision-making tree to determine if professional a boundary has been crossed, and discuss ways to prevent potential professional boundary crossings.
